In the upcoming winter we will again have our Gourmet-events "Löffelweise" in Lech. We are looking forward welocming you to one of the events.

LöffelWeise – a unique experience, bite after bite

The approaching winter season will also witness a culinary star in the gourmet heavens of the Arlberg: LöffelWeise, a series of gourmet events for connoisseurs, offering culinary delights and an international exchange of knowledge.

The food critics from Gault Millau and Falstaff are full of praise for Lech’s gourmet cuisine. “The fact remains that ever-increasing numbers of visitors appreciate Lech and Zürs not only for their ski slopes, but also because of the outstanding gastronomy”, declares Karl Hohenlohe, editor of the Austrian Gault Millau. His colleague from VIP-Gourmetguide, Klaus Buttenhauser, even went so far as to bestow upon the village in the Arlberg, the title “World Gourmet Village”.

The LöffelWeise gourmet series, which was brought into being in Lech and Zürs last year, clearly demonstrates this special culinary status. After the fantastic success of LöffelWeise last winter, the coming 2008/2009 season will also see outstanding venues in Lech offer exclusive gourmet evenings characterised by a wide variety of themes. Participating restaurants will be serving culinary specialities in the form of a first-rate menu, including wine, water and coffee, for a standard price of € 190.00 per person.
LöffelWeise seeks to persuade visitors to Lech and Zürs of the existing potential in the region’s kitchens via their taste buds. One of the main intentions behind the founding of LöffelWeise is the exchange of culinary know-how which takes place between the various chefs, the restaurateurs and, of course, the guests at each particular event. In this way, a unique combination of circumstances is created which sees innovative ideas find their way directly to one’s plate. Every evening, each meal and all combinations of flavour are therefore exquisite!
